On Sunday 17 April, over 30 local sports medicine enthusiasts participated in the Level 1 Sports Trainer Course held at Langwarrin Sports Medicine Centre.

Attracting a wide group of attendees from coaches to parents and administrators, this course is designed to introduce participants to the basic knowledge and skills required by a Sports Trainer.

Peninsula Sports Medicine Group works closely with many local sporting clubs and knows the vital role that Sports Trainers play in the prevention of injury. For anyone with an interest in sports medicine or who is actively involved in sporting clubs, this course provides the necessary skills to help make sport safer for all.

A strong line-up of presenters including Physiotherapists Eddie Aitken, Clinton Watson and Jon Park and Dr Jason Lam. With decades of experience combined, they were able to offer participants practical examples giving them the best preparation for their future role’s in the community.
